The youth group meets on Sundays after church for fellowship and spiritual growth. During the school year, they also gather for Wednesday night programming. These meetings provide an opportunity for the youth to engage in various activities such as studying scripture, playing games, participating in missions, going on outings, and more. The group focuses on building a sense of community, exploring their faith, and fostering personal growth through a range of activities and discussions.
Throughout the year, our youth actively engage in various outreach missions within the Charlotte and Mecklenburg County community. These missions are aimed at addressing a wide range of needs, such as providing support to the homeless, organizing food and clothing drives, and offering assistance to local schools and community centers. Additionally, during the summer, we embark on a week-long mission trip to another community, where we extend our outreach efforts to help address the specific needs of that area. This may involve collaborating with local organizations, conducting community service projects, and providing aid to underprivileged groups. Our goal is to make a meaningful and sustainable impact in the communities we serve, fostering positive change and building stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
Youth group forms and policies are important for ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. These documents outline the rules, expectations, and procedures for youth group activities and help to protect both the youth and the organization.
