Donations of clothing ensure families in need can shop for clothing essentials with dignity and free-of-charge in the Crisis Assistance Ministry Free Store.
Crisis is accepting new and gently used clothing for men, women, and children. Please be mindful to provide clothing that is clean and wearable.
Place your donations (clothes only please) in the designated Crisis collection bins in the church Staff Conference Room (by the parking lot) anytime during April.
A couple of Hawthorne Lane volunteers will gather the clothing collection bins and take them to Crisis Assistance Ministry’s touch-free, drive-through, drop-off located at 500-A Spratt Street on Friday April 30 before 4PM.
Most needed clothing donations include:
• Men’s clothing
• School uniforms (solid color golf/polo shirts; khaki, navy, black pants/skirts)
• Shoes and socks
• New underwear

Roof Above needs 800+ sandwiches every day. We at HLUMC can help even when we cannot be together! Sign up to make 25 or more sandwiches and bring them to the church Evans Hall. Next collection date – TBA

IF questions contact Bill Horton

Please write the total number of sandwiches you deliver to the church on the outside of your delivery bag to facilitate a quick and accurate count.
