baptisms

Baptism is a symbol of new life and a sign of God’s love and forgiveness. It is a sacrament that marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith for infants, children, and adults. Through baptism, we are joined with the Church and with Christians everywhere. In the United Methodist Church, we believe that baptism is a means of grace, a way in which God works in our lives to bring us into a closer relationship. It is a powerful and meaningful act that signifies our inclusion in the body of Christ and our commitment to follow Jesus. Click here to learn more about United Methodist beliefs on baptism.

weddings

Marriage is a sacred covenant between two people, and is a gift from God that reflects the relationship between Christ and the church. Our church offers premarital counseling and support to help couples prepare for this important step. We also provide a beautiful venue for the ceremony, as well as guidance and assistance to plan a meaningful worship experience. Our goal is to assist couples in laying a solid foundation for their marriage and to provide ongoing support and encouragement as they begin their life together.

funerals

"Jesus said, I am the resurrection and I am life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, yet shall they live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die." ~United Methodist Book of Worship

We believe in life after death and find comfort in the promise of resurrection and being reunited with loved ones in God's presence. We offer support and comfort to the grieving through worship services, prayers, pastoral care, counseling, and support groups. Our church embodies the message of hope and comfort in the face of death through our care for the grieving. Anyone may call the office to speak with a pastor or to find out more about making arrangements.
