Many thanks to the HLUMC families, friends & neighbors who made sandwiches for our Roof Above neighbors in 2023. We delivered an average of 655 sandwiches each month, exceeding our monthly commitment of 500. A total of 7,864 sandwiches were delivered in 2023 and, because so many families, friends & neighbors have embraced the Sandwich Mission, it will be another HLUMC signature project in 2023. Our 2024 commitment is to provide 500 individually bagged sandwiches each month to Roof Above.
We need lots of volunteers to make 500 sandwiches to fulfill our 2024 commitment to Roof Above. Will you help by making 20-30 individually bagged sandwiches? And, if 20-30 sandwiches are too many, any amount will help!
Please mark the total number of sandwiches on the outside of your delivery bag and deliver them to the church kitchen refrigerator in Evans Hall by sundown on Wednesday. The sandwiches will be delivered to Roof Above on Thursday morning.
