Racial Justice

We see racial injustice all around us. We see a divided church – all separated by color. But we believe in a God of justice, of reconciliation, of redemption! What is our part? How can we make change? What is God calling us as Christians to do? It starts with conversation. Join Pastor Carrie in a conversation about race and justice on Wednesdays @ 7pm starting Sept 2 through Zoom. We will use Austin Channing Brown’s best selling book “I’m still here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness” as a basis for our conversation. The book is available in print, kindle, and audible editions. Youth and Adults are invited to the conversation. ┬áContact Pastor Carrie for more info, to say you’ll participate in the group, or if you need help getting the book. Cwright@hlumc.org
